About ChumRest Catering
ChumRest Catering is a specialty store for boxed meals (click the image to see more). Our goals and policies emphasize rigorous food preparation, top-quality assurance, challenging price limits, and a commitment to maintaining our reputation above all else! We are also honored to receive the HKCSS "Caring Company" 10+ Logo!
ChumRest Catering is a social enterprise that does not seek government funding. For the past 24 years, we have primarily focused on punchoi, boxed meals, and catering services. Many positions in our store, such as call operators, delivery personnel, and cleaners, are filled by individuals recovering from mental health issues, people with disabilities, and those from disadvantaged communities. We actively provide training to help them integrate into the workplace quickly, contributing to society. Over the years, we have provided over 150 positions for those in need, and we are grateful that even after facing various challenges, we still have six dedicated staff members working with us to serve everyone!
More than eight years ago, we transitioned all production equipment from gas to modern electric appliances and environmentally friendly tableware made from plant-based materials, reducing carbon emissions and contributing to environmental sustainability.
